About This Course

The central role that data plays in our modern world helped propel tech companies such as Apple, Google, and Amazon to become market leaders, prompting the saying ‘data is the new oil’. Our view is that data should be viewed as the soil companies use to foster sustainable growth.

This course is designed for banking professionals to understand the true impact and importance of data to current and future societies. We will pull back the curtain and explore the journey that data takes from the moment it is created to the moment it is visualized in a report. We will also understand what the future of banking will look like and the role that bankers will play. Finally, the course will conclude with a demo on analysing a relevant dataset and creating an actionable report out of the analysis.

The impact that data has, and will continue to have, cannot be overstated. It powers burgeoning technologies and platforms, such as blockchain, IoT, and 3D printing. In the same way we can’t imagine companies without electricity, computers, or the internet, we will quickly reach a point where we can’t imagine companies operating without data analytics. Join us as we explore the frontier of banking where data sits at the heart of transformation.
